In this weekβs SMC outlook, I break down market structure, BoS and CHoCH, fair value gaps, and key imbalance levels on the DXY, EURUSD, GBPUSD, and gold so you know exactly what matters heading into thin holiday liquidity. If this helped you, subscribe for more: https://www.youtube.com/justinbennettfx?sub_confirmation=1 This is less about forcing trades and more about understanding structure, imbalances, and where the market could realistically react over the coming days and weeks. Hereβs what Iβm watching. DXY The dollar has shown short-term bullish momentum on the hourly after reclaiming key structure, but zooming out, most of this move still looks internal within a larger bearish context. I walk through why the daily fair value gap near 98.95 remains the key magnet, how OTE aligns with that area, and what acceptance above it would mean for a potential bullish shift versus a corrective move. EURUSD The euro is largely the inverse of the DXY, and I explain why recent price action looks heavy short term while still holding a bullish change of character on higher timeframes. We look at internal vs external structure, unmitigated fair value gaps, and why a pullback into imbalance and OTE could offer opportunity if we get the right lower-timeframe confirmation. GBPUSD The pound is a bit different this week, with a clearer hourly change of character after internal liquidity was taken and structure flipped. I break down why this could open the door for downside rotation into large imbalances and single prints, but also why Iβm cautious making aggressive calls given holiday liquidity and sideways conditions. XAUUSD (Gold) Gold remains in an uptrend with higher highs and higher lows, but price is still holding in premium. I explain why that makes buying difficult, why Iβm not interested in shorting, and what kind of pullback into imbalance would actually get my attention for a potential long setup. As always, this is educational, not financial advice. Markets are slow right now, so this is a good time to focus on structure, context, and patience instead of forcing trades.
